Lamb Shanks..........

Lamb Shanks
4 lamb shanks (1/person)
(most slow cookers will fit 4 shanks)
Flour (1-2 tablespoons to flour the shanks)
1 large onion (thinly sliced)
1 medium green capsicum (seeded and cut into strips)
1 cup of Tomato sauce
1 clove of Garlic (minced)
1/3 cup of Dry white wine or chicken stock
½ teaspoon of dried Oregano leaves 
¼ teaspoon of Sugar
¼ teaspoon of Ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon of dried rosemary
salt and pepper to taste

Place the shanks and flour in plastic bag to coat the shanks.
Put the shanks, onions, capsicum into the slow cooker.
Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl then pour over shanks.
6-8hrs in the slow cooker.

I served mine on a bed of mash potatoes with some carrots and broccoli.
